First holiday party of the season- Yay! : )
My pumpkin-looking deviled eggs were a huge hit, so guess what I was elected to bring again!? Deviled Eggs! Of course, pumpkins just won’t work this time. Here’s my Christmas deviled eggs as holiday lights! 😀
To get started, make your favorite deviled egg filling and simply added a few drops of dye. I worked with a couple tablespoons of filling at a time to get various colors for my lights.
Then fill the egg and lightly spread along the top using a knife. Once, the eggs are filled use your finger and a little water to wipe the edges clean top help smooth out the look.
For the light cord, I used strips of green onion and the base of the bulb is a piece of black olive.
Then arrange on a serving tray and use the green onion and olives to garnish. Hope these add a little fun to your holiday events! : D
Sorry for the super fast pics! I was rushing a bit, but hope this gives you some ideas for adding a Christmas or holiday touch to your party appetizers : ) 🎄
